Administration & Accounting Specialist

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administration & Accounting Specialist to support our office operations in Taicang. This role will be responsible for general administrative tasks, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
As part of a company with its headquarters in Germany, this position will also require coordination with the finance and administration teams in Germany to ensure alignment with global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Finance:
? Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank transactions.
? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
? Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
? Ensure compliance with local tax and financial regulations.
? Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
? Support financial reporting requirements for the German headquarters.
2. Administration & Office Management:
? Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment, and facility management.
? Handle travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and company events.
? Support HR-related administrative tasks such as payroll processing, employee records, and onboarding.
? Maintain accurate documentation and filing systems.
3. Compliance & Reporting:
? Ensure company policies and procedures align with local regulations.
? Support internal and external audits.
? Prepare administrative and financial reports for local management and the German headquarters.
Qualifications & Requirements:
? Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
? Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
? Familiarity with Chinese accounting standards and local tax regulations.
? Experience in working with international companies or reporting to a foreign headquarters is a plus.
? Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
? Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
? Fluent in Mandarin proficiency in English is a plus.
